G'day
I live in Darwin on the Northern tropical coast of Australia but my car is in Victoria Southern not so tropical coast of Australia where I bought it and are having an engine transplant performed.
You have an interesting collection of vehicles on hear but none the same as mine so I thought I would share my vision of a Morris Minor in the 21st century.
My car is called MORRX being a play on Morris and RX7 as it is an amalgamation of the two.
It is a work in progress, but the engine transplant is nearly finished then only the interior to do.
Cheers

A couple of pictures I took yesterday.
Not sure what to do with the bit under the bumper, I am thinking of painting it a flat black or bark blue so that it will blend in with the shadow under the car and not be so obvious. Any ideas?
Cheers

g'day!
my father and i are just about to embark on the exact same project. he has owned his morry since before i was born (1994). its a 59 2 door. i just started stripping the paint off the body for a restoration. after some talking and measuring i convinced him to consider a rotary engine. after reading about your morry this evening i think i got him ready to commit. if you had the time i would enjoy to pick your brain and ask you a few questions about your swap.
thank you for your time!

If I can help with your project, I am happy to do so given that I have no technical skills and paid to have the conversion done.
The best place to see the full saga of the creation of "MORRX" is on "morrisdownunder.com" an Australian Morris forum or "ausrotary.com" .
They both, in their project sections, have a full account of the project from buying the car to present day.
Good luck with your project.
Cheers

Mortina looks like an interesting car. With the series 2 Minor's 803cc making about 28hp the Cortina's 70ish hp would be a big increase in performance.
The last time I had Morrx tuned it made 120 rwhp from what is basically a standard injected 6 port 13B, so it revs smoothly from 0 to 7000 rpm.
Cheers
