Future rotary nut. 86 N/A

Good day all,

I recently purchased a 1986 N/A as a project. Cant wait to get started and bring this old girl back to her former glory. With all the help I'm going to need from these forums I'd like to thank you in advance.

-Kevin

Welcome and congrats! IMO the 86 N/A Rx7 is one of the best Rx7s made.

Welcome to the forum!! Looks like you have an 86 Sport given the rear spoiler. Will definitely be a fun car to restore. Does it run and drive and do you know any of the car's history?

Yes! the car runs and drives well. It was imported to Canada from the US in 1992. The body has 210k miles, the engine was replaced at some point and has an unknown amount of miles. The previous owner did take it in for service on the regular to a reputable rotary shop. Unfortunately he did not take care of the growing rust issue, which is the first thing I'm going to tackle.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
