CT Fresh Turd From CT

Hey whats up, Im Shawn. live in a small but busy town in CT.

Im a union carpenter doing comercial construction.
Im really into dirtbikes, quads, Harleys, trucks, my girlfriends kitty, Guns, teaching my lil bro the basics on working on his truck, all the Gran Turismo games, by the way (PSN ID: Shawno666) lol. Im lucky to have a good family and an awesome girlfriend too.

I like to make my friends laugh, hopefully everyone has a sense of humor on here. and im not the greatest with spelling & punctuation, most the time i dont feel like puting this thingy ' or capitalizing certain letters, cuz you'll get the gist unless its your first day interacting with other humans on the internet right?

SO....
Im really interested in learning about the RX-7. Someday i'd love to own a 3rd gen i believe a FD? They are one of the many, most beautiful cars ive ever seen. Leave it mostly stock & Hopefully get a turbo charged engine for it down the road yada yada yada. i know its going to be hard to find the right one but when im ready i hope i find one OR if a rich friend buys one, that would be cool too as long as i get to drive it & work on it haha

Just like everything that interests me, i try to go out and find more info about it.
It started when i got interested in salt water fish. went on a forum, read as much as i could b4 falling asleep every night. read a book. kept reading forums/threads as i was saving up for the whole SW fish tank & system, live rock etc.
a year and a half to 2 years later i finally decided i knew enough and had about the right amount of money to flush down the toilet I MEAN buy one haha. but yea, basicallly another expensive hobby to add to my lifestyle

anyways enough of me BSing, im gonna be around as much as i can get on and reading & stuff and checkin back here if any1 wants to say Hey newb
hope to learn alot here and drool over some pics of your FDs
thanks, shawn

Hey Shawn, welcome to the forum.

If you like researching than I can't stress enough: research research research! Rx7s are awesome cars especially the 3rd generation one. But the more you know before buying one the less headaches you'll have down the road.

Good luck!

Hey Shawn, I went to school in Connecticut. There used to be some great shows over at Marcus Dairy in Danbury before it shut down. What kind of truck does your lil brother have? Haven't met anyone big in the salt water fish game before, I'm imagining it could get expensive?

thank you kindly ecoli !

nj412ci, I'm not familiar with Danbury...
My lil bro and i have mid 80's chevy pickup trucks. hes got a long bed, 350, standard, 4wd, almost mint body. i got a 87 shortbed 350 tbi, 4wd, auto , tad rusty not too bad tho. i love my truck more than any vehicle i had before. we are both at stock height also.

yes it can get real expensive and i only have a 40gal. tank. i cant imagine the amount of $ people dump into their 75+ gallon tanks.
im trying to get out of it myself.

where did you go to school in CT?
