Forum Lurker here. FINALLY Got my own FD!!!!

Hey guys,

I'm Mickey Andrade. Just picked up my first RX-7 although I've worked on many. I have always used this forum for information and I must say it is bar none the best source.

Looking forward to my journey re-building this 1993 project. Here is the current status:

Glad that is in good hands now.

I really like the work you did on that latest White RX-7 you were working on.

Thanks brother! I am going to do my best to document the build on here along the way. Are you familiar with this car from it's previous owner?

Thanks man! I appreciate the support. Can't wait to get started on this thing. Stage one is going to be finishing the car to it's former glory and getting it running. Then it will get torn down and built to the nines. So excited!

Man, that sounds and looks like a big big project. Nothing you can’t handle I’m sure!

Yea, not my first rodeo. But as you guys know, throwing a rotary engine that has been dormant for a decade presents a whole other set of challenges. If you have any tips/advice, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts, if you have any.

Cheers!

I am not, just heard what you publicly stated.
Your guidance and work on the other project gives me confidence that I will like what you do with your own FD.

I don't know if you are going to go as crazy with new parts on your FD as was done on the other one, but I saw you are getting a good start at it. I know how it can snowball from my projects.

If you don't already have a Mazda Motorsports/Mazdaspeed account you should get one for high discounts, easy ordering and fast shipping on stock and Mazda Competition parts.
All you have to do is send in two race results a year from racing a Mazda (doesn't have to be yours even) in a racing organization.
Could be a weekend of SCCA auto-x.

Mazda wants us grass roots enthusiasts to race and supports us with great sponsorship when we do.
