A Formal Introduction

Hello RX7club.com,

My name is BabySnakes and I am the owner of two rotary vehicles. I have owned my 06 RX8 since 2007 and recently purchased a 88 Convertible. She is soo damn cute, everyone loved her, I was so happy bring her home and fix her up. I have tried looking for parts to patch up some some of her issues but not getting good luck with other sources.

I have been to RX7club.com for good resources in the past so I finally decided to make an account for use in the classifieds section. I really didn't pay attention to "Rules" and other BS when reading troubleshooting threads, but now as a member I guess I will have to jump through some hoops before I have access to post in classifieds?

I honestly scan pages for key words and disregard other BS(stickies and signatures) on archaic forums structure as this one. They're not very well designed and sometimes more trouble than they are to deal with. I don't intend on much discussion in this forum for these reason i have just stated. I hope there isn't a post requirement in order to gain more posting privileges.

So whoever can help me move towards the goal of finding parts I need, I would appreciate it.

Oh I see there are post requirements... there are so many rules here...this is quite annoying. Deciphering the RX-7 wire diagram was less painful than deciphering the "How to use this Site" section...

Welcome to the Forum.
As you know now,all New registrants must acquire 10 posts before they can access the Classifieds section and then you can knock yourself out buying and selling.
Being that the Forum was created for INFO mainly,The classifieds were created and dedicated for it's true members to use,and for that fact we ask that you stick around and at least acquire TEN posts in order to use the sections that buy and sell.
It's a self serving forum so if you gain the 10 then you can search to your heart's content..in the various Classifieds Sections.
(no parts are or will be available in this section.)
Good luck to ya.

I see, I just don't feel I have much to offer in knowledge for any discussions due to my n00b knowledge in RX-7s. I don't even know what way to contribute...

Read a couple INTRO's by new members..Welcome THEM in and your posts will start to add up.(Remember again, you cant post more than THREE replies in this section as it considered post whoring and excessive).
Take your time to read a bit of technical threads, build threads, get some ideas at the same time, post some replies..and boom..your good to go.
I realize that as a new guy it is often the case of "I need it now" and nothing else matters, but when the Forum consists of 100 thousand members there has to be a bit of regulation and the sections are the most useful when they contain only what they are supposed to.
That is why the Rules have to be effective and in place.
It may seem silly and frankly sometimes it is questionable but when it boils down to the nitty gritty of it,the Guys that use the Forum frequently applaud the fact that the site contains so much info and that it is easily available.
So..The forum may not be the Ebay of RX parts,But we are #1 when it comes to INFO!

*..heh..notice that when I post you answer?...and your post count is rising?..so I'm not that BAD am I?..
