Finally got a 7, sorta
The name is Tim, common enough.
I was originally going to buy a 88 GTU when i graduated highschool back in 06', but just couldn't scrounge up the cash to make the purchase. See I was raised around cars and fell in love with the rotary back when I was around 12 or so and always knew I had to have one of these "different kinda cars". I always found myself defending my stance on the rotary engine to others, yet some how when I finally was able to purchase my 90' GTU it came with a 350 in the bay. But what can i say i'm a sucker for being different. I hope to aquire and build a decent 13b or even a 20b one day, but for now I'm just going to work with what I have. At least I have the car, it's a start.

Ya know, if you like it, drive it. If you really genuinely like rotaries more, then you might consider swapping at some point, but I wouldn't feel like you need to be pressured to do a swap just to be more a part of the community. I am never gonna put a V8 in any of my 7s But to each his own, grats on the car and I hope you can find something with the car that makes you happy.

Yeah, it is a shame that it has a 350 :-/.. not that I don't like those simple and strong engines.. while it's sort-of different (being in an rx).. it would really be more different? to have that stock motor in there.. think about the number of 350's on the road. Either way.. the 90's are still sexy cars IMO...

hey Tim
Hey tim I'm not to far from you in florida and I finally got my hands on a 86 GLU for free. and the best part about it was that it was running... I actually wanted to put a 2jz in it but then I brought it home and started it up : Brap brap brap : I feel even harder for the car when I heard it and knew it was mine. but what can I say I'm like you. I like them to be unique...
