Xavier,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing a photo of your FD! How long have you had it? How many miles are on the clock? Where did you take that picture? It looks like a spot along the Chesapeake Bridge & Tunnel.

Be sure to check out the forum guidelines on the FAQ page. There is plenty of info there and also on the FD FAQ threads. Please remember, full access to the forum will become available after 10 posts in the new member section.

Again, welcome!

I had the car for 2 years. I bough her in Japan when I was stationed there. That photo was taken near the Yokosuka, Japan Naval Base last March. It currently has 96,000 kilometers and mostly stock.

Xavier,

Good old Yokosuka! I was there once...back in 94 while on WestPac. Is it a 93 or 94? How much trouble did you have importing it to the US? She looks exceptionally clean!

We're neighbors, so to speak. So if you have any questions or maybe want to go for a ride then shoot me a PM. If you are looking for a short scenic drive then consider driving Colonial Parkway from Yorktown Battlefield to Jamestown. It's roughly 26mi. The spring bloom or autumn leaves are the 2 optimum times to drive it.

It is a Dec 1993. I was able to being her state side under my military orders. You can bring anyt car that is 25 years or older. All I did was get the car de register in Japan and pay for an export certificate and the military personal property office took care of the rest. Looking at the paperwork, looks like they have a contract with a car broker though.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm looking forward to go for a ride with you.

Xavier
