Hey All.
Screwed this up last time so I'll try again.
My name is Daniel and I'm a recently graduated mechanical engineer from Cal Poly Pomona.
I'm from Southern California in the inland empire. I have a '94 RX7 that I've owned for 5 years...and have driven 0 miles
Its kind of a perpetual project. I am nearing completion though! 2014 is going to be the year.
Its a chaste white touring model with 69000 original miles. It has been parked since 2005 I believe when the previous owner popped the engine.
Its not the most popular choice around here, but I dove right into a v8 swap. Its a 404 cubic inch LS2 with a t56 transmission. The engine has ls3 heads and intake, a small cam, and a forged stroker rotating assembly. It should make 500 horsepower and 500 ft lb smog legal in California. When finished I should be able to go to the referee and get a BAR sticker to make it legal.
A little more about me - I've been in auto racing since I was 11 years old. I started in road race go karts and moved to the family sport of drag racing at 16. I was the high school champion at my home track in Sonoma. I have been as fast as 8.45 @ 158mph in a purpose built drag car.
