GA FD Owner new to the forum

Hello everyone, V8 powered FD owner here new to forum. Purchased car a while back (with my son),
looking forward to meeting some fellow owners for occasional advice and guidance.
Fairly new to FD's had one other one a few years back for a short time. Plan on holding on to this one a while. Had some other nice cars in the past, always had to end
up selling due to financial reasons, I'm sure most folks here know how these things can end up being money pits sometimes. Maybe I can share some photos of my previous cars
with some of you guys in the future, if you're interested.

Thanks for letting me be part of this forum, look forward to getting to know some fellow RX-7 fan(atics) and using this site as a resource for knowledge.

Hey Mark. I remember seeing this car for sale and wishing I had the money at the same. The RPF1's look soooo nice on the 3rd gens. And this car in particular is flawless. Great buy, hope to see more pictures of this over time

Hello Jake and thanks for the comments. My son and I split the cost of it, which made it a little easier. I think he's on this forum too, though I'm not even sure what his username is, haha.
The guy we bought it from was super nice and also had an extremely awesome Supra, so I guess he won't miss the RX-7 too much.

The only problem is I get a little jealous when my son drives it and vice versa. He used to be into the drifting scene a couple of years back so I'm always worried he's going to have a
flashback when he's driving it and do something crazy LOL. We wont be doing any drifting with it, maybe take it to some car meets here near Atlanta. I like the wheels too, but he keeps
talking about getting some Works (don't remember which ones), to make it a little more our own. The motor runs great and sounds awesome, especially with that exhaust.

I'll be happy to share some pics sometimes, we've had some other cool cars over the last few years including an R33 GTR. Unfortunately I had to sell that one a couple of years back.
We have had many 240's with different motors and configurations, a different FD (not as nice as this one), but I'm kinda happy we sold (or traded) all of them since this was a big drain on my wallet.

Good luck to you Jake, don't hesitate to pm me anytime you would like.

Hey, thanks. Just take it to some local get togethers and take it for an occasional joy ride. The LS in it sounds awesome and we get a
lot of double takes from people not expecting to hear the V8 rumble coming out of it.

This car looks super clean, you going to take it out to caffeine and octane ever?

Thanks. Would like to possibly. Only problem is it's like 60 miles from my house, I'm on the soutside of town, and I hate putting it on the road that far with all the crap bouncing around on the interstate. There are a few smaller get togethers we may do down this way first, but would like to go there sometime, I hear it's great

It is an awesome time, I am only 20 minutes from the mall so I go every month. Hoping to have my car on the road for next month.

Thanks for the welcome in my thread! I can't believe how exotic the FD looks even to this day, especially with some tasteful mods. Beautiful ride and hope to spot it around town one of these days!

Beautiful car my man. With an LS it should be quite reliable. From what I've heard the unreliability just comes from the rotary and is mainly just a rumor spread by people who don't know how to work on their own cars.
