Hi,
I bought my N/A FC a few months ago and will be re-furbing it over the next few months. Pretty clean car with bits of rust in the usual places (floor pan / inner sill).
Nice to meet you all!

Yeah pretty much, most come with rust as an optional extra from the factory!!!

Well the guy I bought it from tried to remove the air pump, failed, then left the car to rot for the next 2 years! I've just removed the exhaust (header back) to find some of the worst bodging / mutilation of an aftermarket system I have ever seen, shitty chassis rails and bad rust under the drivers footwell area.
The brake discs are badly worn all round and I dont even want to look at the pads!

So once I've sorted emmissions removal and a new header / down-pipe from Racing beat, done a complete engine re-fresh (not internals), I'll set to work on the crusty parts. Once they're completed, Tax, Insurance and MOT then .

How many icons do you guys have!?!
