Hello All,
My name is Mike, currently live in Tulsa, OK. I've been reading several posts over the past year and decided I would join the forum.
I currently own a 1985 RX7 GSL. Found it tucked away in storage for 13 years! I originally owned a 1984 GSL-SE and loved the car, of course that was back when I was 17.
Thanks for all the help that I have already received from all of you!
wow great looking fb, welcome to the forum. what's ur plans for it? what's the story on it, how did u find it?
I had knowledge of the car for about 5 years, a friend of mine from work and I were discussing cars we have had and I brought up the Rx7. I told him I would love to have one again and he just grinned at me. He just so happened to have one sitting in his garage. At the time, he wouldn't sell.
Last year he asked me if I was still interested, of course I jumped at the opportunity.
After cleaning the carb, replacing the idler arm and the clutch master cylinder. She drives. 😁

I will add... It has a Holley intake, carb and header from RB.
This was purchased by my friend when he was attempting to get it running right.
I am seriously debating buying the FITech fuel injection system and giving it a try. I have researched and have not found anyone who has done it. Thoughts?
in the video u said u hadn't seen any videos of any running RB holley setup. anything specific u looking for? i have one on youtube but really doesn't show much.
My plans are to keep it close to stock, The car is too clean to modify too much. I wish the previous owner had not swapped the Carb/intake out.
I think this is a great plan!! Car will be worth more in the long run as a stock unit and the prices are climbing pretty well. I do stock restorations so I'm the crazy guy that appreciates original, lol.
