TX expended rotary oil is my blood :D

New to the rx7club forums, a friend on a game i play refered me. I have a red 04 rx8 that i use to **** off traffic daily and im trying to find my special little slice of 7 atm. The oilfield provides the money and rotaries are what provide the motivation. i haven't done any mods other than brake pads to my 8 as im saving for the fd dream. I work like a robot and have a gf so the forums are just about going to be my only friends, so far i have seen alot of friendly posts... and a few cynical ones. which works for my twisted sense of humor.

I have been talking to a guy about buying whats basically a shell. its cheap but its auto and needs a rebuild. which is really perfect for me because i want to work on it myself... lol i know where an fc is sitting right now with a blown motor lol. i have been thinking of buying it to learn the build on.

Count one more in TX. I'm Ft. Worth, too. Once you guys are working on yours, if you need some help, let me know. I had a '79 way back when and I don't mind pitching in to help folks when they need it. I've got to sell another vehicle before I can really start looking, though.

Moritsune,

Hey man welcome to the on-going look for an Rx-7. I'm in the same boat as you are but I have full time school as well as full time work and a GF. No social life. As a matter of fact, I am actually at work right now making this post.

Good luck on your search and if you need any help just PM me. I've ran into a lot of FD's here in Texas but most of them are modded. Been looking around a 200 mile radius around Dallas.

Wow im glad to see that FW knows how to represent. ya i have been at work all week long... litterally i have over 100 hours in seven days and im about to go out again. My gf left me because i work too much and i have this job because of my 8 lol. if i told her i was getting a seven she would prob never speak with me. If you do happen to find an FD in this area thats not modded im wanting to do a full swap... i have the means and desire.. im building a monster and thats all i want to say on that. Living in lake worth atm in these apts that i have grown to not like living in alone. When i find the car i will be storing it at one of three friends houses to work on and should have tools at my disposal. I havent slept in two and a half almost three days and my mind is goin a million a second XD i look forward to more positive responses!!!

Whoa pony! Slow down a bit. Get some sleep before you go doing anything crazy.

You, me and Inconsiderate should trade notes. I've got to get my truck sold and then I'll be looking harder. In the meantime, there's way too much to read here. Good luck and you guys PM me if you find something good!

So i paid a guy to bring me my 93 fd to me. A close friends personal friend. Sent the cash and everything. He screwed me out of my money (if i ever see that sack of **** i will sever his head and mount it on a fence post) then my chick decides she cant even see me the little bit that we did see each other we are totally finished. The next time i go to work i fly up on a state trooper at 92mph and get a ticket for 77 in a 65 and no inspection ticket that i still havent taken care of. So i think ok im gonna get away on a vacation for a little while. Set up a snowboarding trip and stop at ihop on my way to leave out at his house, what happens. My wallet is stolen and i cant go, so i head to my bosses house and get ready for work the next day instead. I get hit in the head with a chain and still dont know how i fucked up both of my rotating cups in my shoulders... A few days of not being able to buy smokes or alcohol go buy and i am working still. i go outside and my oil light is on in the car and it wont turn over.... So i get under and it is leaking everywhere. My guess is worst case scenario crack housing seized rotor HURRAY!!! Ever the optomistic i will stay and say farewell to the hooker! **** the police! Jeff watch your back! And 20b power here i freakin come!!!!
