CA ex-owner lamenting his long lost love

I'm Brian from the Los Angeles area and do track photography for a living (CaliPhotography). I used to own a montego blue 94 RX-7. I miss that car every day! After an unfortunately overheating incident, I had the engine built by KD Rotary in PA, then ended up selling it like 2 months later. So dumb!!

After that I bought an ebay special 85 RX-7 with a Chevy 400 V8 in it. Wasn't as fast as the 3rd gen, but it sure turned heads Had to sell it because I couldn't get it to pass inspection in NC.

Moved to California, bought a supercharged Miata for the track. Great fun, but sold to help buy a house. As you can see, I kind of like Mazdas. Now I have a 2007 Lexus is350 because I'm getting old and I like 4 doors, haha. Almost bought a mazdaspeed3, but ultimately I just love that RWD. Maybe some day I'll pick up a 3rd gen again.

Hi Brian,

I hear ya! I missed mine when I sold it. I pulled the trigger and bought another FD a few moths ago. I'm a gluten for punishment, what can I say. The first was a money pit and had two trips on the "flat bed of shame".
