It is very difficult to register this car in California. I will be moving to another State pretty soon, and I will register it there. For a car this old most states you wouldn't have to get a smog check done, but California is strict. Getting insurance was not too bad. You should not have to do anything more to make it compliment in most other states besides the normal car inspection stuff.

Thanks bro. The engine was a big part of why i purchased the car. once you see the car in person, and drive it you will fall in love with it. Hopefully I can bring this back to its full potential with a twist. Thanks again.

yes. The stock trans really holds this car back. Its a dog. Really makes the car sluggish out of the gate. car pulls pretty strong once the turbos kick in. i put it on the dyno other day, and it made 236hp/234tq at the wheels. I have a lot of plans for this car.

I'll check that out. After owning a 1995 180SX for the last 8 years though, I'm over RHD in a LHD country, it gets annoying on two lane roads and trying to turn left at intersections.
