BC Current Skyline owner looking into a rotary

hello my name is darren, and i'm from Vancouver BC. I posted an intro earlier with "hello from Vancouver BC" then i realised i forgot to add my name sorry for that. Moving on there's something that is just fascinating about the rotary engine, and not to mention the timeless design curves on an FD. I currently own a 91 r32 gtr as the topic mentions. The skyline has given me lots of good memories, but i wouldn't mind going anit piston and learning more about rotaries while looking for the next ride

Welcome, Darren!

The FD is a nice car. I hope that you find what you are looking for. Any pics of the Skyline?

Hi Darren. Good luck with your search! I'd also be interested in seeing pics of your skyline.

here are some pics guys haven't made much in the way of changes last year since i've been toying with the idea of a new car, but hopefully i will get the car tuned sometime this year, enjoy these small sample pics
if anyone was wondering as to the turbos and brakes being used

r34 n1 turbos
endless brake kit in the front and brembos in the rear
ceramic brake pads

some things that were changed are as follows
- stock fuel rail has been replaced with a sard fuel rail and 285lph fuel pump
- stock injectors have been swapped for sard 660cc injectors
- N1 headlights with hid projectors were put back in

the condition of the R32 is crazily nice, the paint and the interior (cept maybe new carpets?)
and good looking engine bay too

except why is the back lower than the front?
and dont you hate to drill those side maker holes? :P

LOL thanks um the car is even height my driveway is just on a slight angle lol yeah new carpets would be a plus and thanks for the compliments. yeah the side marker thing was annoying as well as taking it to a truck weigh scale station to register it in bc that was a fun day this side shot is better then the first that makes it look like the front is higher

yeah the car original was built in japan at zenitani and a guy in toronto purchased it , and then i bought this one from him, and it was my second skyline i bought it pretty much had everything i was looking to put into it myself. the car came with 75,000km on the chasis and just a litte over 3,000km on the rebuilt rb26dett engine with tomei full rebuild kit. since then there have been only minor upgrades the biggest being the fuel system

the car handles as well as she looks great stoping power with a set of endless brakes in the front and a set of r34gtr brembos in the back and ceramic brake pads. The car is still a twin turbo set up but the turbos are a set of r43 n1 turbos and not the stock ones made from ceramic wich are known to crack under high boost over time, Looking to add a set of toyo tires onto it this year for some tracking possibly

Overall car was bought for a little over 20,000 this was 4 years ago when all u could get were the r32 gtrs in canada, and another 10,000 on top of that with the fuel upgrade as well as all the work that went into making the car legal to register in bc since california and bc have the strictest laws for import cars. Most memorable part of owning this car was taking it out to port coquitlum to use the truck weigh scale station since bcca said i needed the exact weight of the car, imagine a bunch of big semi trucks in line and yourself there in your tuned out car

again thanks for the kind words as for trades maybe one day just looking to add another car to the collection and maybe add a few more goodies to the r32 or wait for the r34gtrs to be able to be imported to BC
