I bought my 1993 Rx7 R1 new on March 11, 1993. I have owned two Rx7 prior to this one. I bought a 1979 Rx7 in August 1978. It was one of the first imported into the US. I owned it for 8 years and then bought a 1987 Rx7 turbo in July of 1986. All of my Rx7's have been red.

I was a Rotary Rocket Club member in 1979 and received the magazine for several years. I recently registered my Rz7 as a classic. It has 38,450 miles on it. Last June I went to the dealership and had the oil and filter changed. I replaced the air filter and fuel filter. The air filter and fuel filter cost me over $110. The dealership ordered form the factory in Japan. I am concerned as the car ages with the availability of parts.
