I found an ad on craigslist for an '88 RX7 GXL 2+2. The seller is offering to give it to me for $1150. It's got a rebuilt 13B engine in it already with 0 miles w/ k&n intake & single borla exhaust. Also has a new radiator. Problem is that it doesn't run because of wiring problems. Talking to the owner, he says that one wire is getting grounded for the crank angle sensor.

I've already seen some threads about the crank angle sensor but I'm still unsure as to the work, time, and cost needed to get this thing running again. I'm also concerned that there may be more problems other than the CAS. The seller is in a hurry and wishes to sell by today or tomorrow. I've yet to personally check it out, but I was hoping that I could get some feedback or advice through here.

This would be my first car, so any help would be greatly appreciated into helping me make my decision if I should buy this car or not.
