Talking Bought my first car, for the 3rd time...

Hey there! Today I brought home my first car for the third time. I originally bought this 83 GSL from the original owner back in 2014 with 45k miles. It was my first car and I drove the hell out of it with daily abuse.
After owning for a couple years, I sold it to a buddy who owned it for about a year and a half hardly driving it at all during such time. I ended up purchasing it for the second time in late 2016 after deciding I wanted it back. Drove it for a few more years and eventually sold it again in 2019 with 103,4xx miles to a 16 y/o kid for his first car.

Fast forward to Sept. '23 and I'm laying in bed mindlessly thumbing through Facebook Marketplace when I scroll past my car. It was listed with 103,000 miles and every picture of it was just as I had last left it. Naturally I'm confused as all get out because how does it have the same amount of miles 4 years later, appear the same, and the ad was even copy and pasted from what I had typed up 4 years prior further adding to the confusion. At this point I don't remember what the guy I sold it to looked like or even his name, so my mind is trying to make sense of this oddly specific possible scam?

Message the guy and turns out to be him and it's been sitting in a garage for 4 years. He drove it about 70 miles home, would drive to a local spot with his dad and learn to drive stick in it, and that's about all it got. A family member got in a bad accident and had his parents worried about him driving a car that isn't necessarily the safest and got him in something more modern. I go and check it and it has 103,6xx miles, only about 200 more than what I sold it with and still runs great.

If there's such a car god it was telling me I needed to bring it back home haha. Settled on a price and signed the pink slip yet a third time for it.
If you ever get the chance to buy back your first car, make it happen! I can't wait to start toying with this thing again, and upgrading it with actual adult money now ha!
