First post, but I have done a bunch of reading around the site.

I bought the car years ago, and cumulatively it has sat for 14 yrs without driving. Surprisingly I got the old 12A running before I had to pull it apart with the trans throwout bearing seized. I then found a good deal on a S5 13B and transmission pull-out. The project stalled halfway into swapping it in, combination of moving and running low of project funds.

Recently with the help of a friend we hauled it to his garage and the project plans changed to an LSx swap.

I don't hate the Rotary I just don't understand them to be comfortable enough to mod it to the power I want. I did make a good effort to live with the 12A, and was excited to get it running but still bummed I could not drive it.
