PA Been Lurking for a while! just introducing myself

Hey everyone (well, everyone that reads this lol), my real name is too complicated for some people so i just go by the name Yoshi or Yosh. I'm 20 years of age & I'm from Pittsburgh,PA.

I LOVE FD's(who doesn't lol) & I'm very fond of FC's. I have yet to own either of them or a car for that matter due to family needs & other problems that I'm currently going through. Regardless of all that though, I'm still trying to pick up a cheap NA FC just to have something at least ya know?

I've been a rotary fanatic for as long as i can remember & I joined this forum quite a long time ago to read up + learn more about RX-7's. I'm decently-mechanically & have worked on a number of piston related engines/cars but I have yet to work on a rotary or RX-7. I have however, read endless amounts of info on here & in a few books i have regarding the wankel & how it works so I at least have a pretty good understanding of how things work! So when i do get my hands on a something wankel-powered, I'll be confident enough to dive head first into any problems that may happen with the car involving the engine.

random rant/
I almost..almost! had my hands on a T2 swapped S4 vert 2 days ago that i found on craigslist for $800! i emailed the guy & left my phone #. I told him to contact me asap & that i had cash in hand, but its been about 2 days since that email & I've gotten no reply. With that, I'm convinced the car sold pretty quick considering how good of a deal it was. Pretty bummed about that buut there'll be more opportunities in the future, just have to wait longer lol

anyways if you did read this thanks for your time & i hope to become well-acquainted with everyone on this forum!

Ah, I too know the unreliable nature of CL while searching for a rx7.
Good luck!
And let me know if you find out some tips! (:

Yes it is very unreliable! Especially for me because I'm in PA so RX7's very few & in between around here. Around my area the only RX7's on craigslist at the moment are literally:
-a rusted out 351 swapped FC()
-an FB that has been rotting in a back yard for over 7 years
That's it lol. Really makes me wish i lived on the west coast! But yeah for sure man I'll keep you posted on anything useful i may find out

I'm a lurker here for a while also lol. I've been using this board a lot for research/learning more about RX7 since I'm going to build one in the near future.
