VA Been here years but just getting back on

Hey everyone,

Joined back in 05 and used to own a 85 and two 93 Rx7's. I just remembered about this site and decided to log back in and check it out the past couple of weeks or so. I do not own a Rx7 anymore due to their reliability and just how much money I was spending on it and getting screwed. But now I do plan on jumping into a Turbo II here in the future and going to browse and check things out again. I now own a Lotus Elise as my playtoy but have room in the garage for one more. Located in Virginia if anyone wants to go cruisin sometime!

Thanks! Ive owned the Elise since January. I was going to purchase a 2020 Supra but my local dealer kept dicking me around and wouldnt wave the $5,000 "Niche" vehicle fee, so I told em to pound sand. I ended up buying this from Florida and getting it shipped up. It is a fantastic little car, so much fun. It has the sports suspension so it is extremely rough and super responsive.

Ive always had a soft spot in my heart for a TII. They have always been amazing looking cars IMO. I got out of the Rotary scene after getting my *** handed to me money wise and decided to get out of the car scene for about 8 years and now I am back. I had 4 transactions go south on this forum totaling about $25k all said and done, and then when I brought 2 motors to Banzi racing to be rebuilt the cores were garbage so I said screw it and sold every single piece of rotary part I had to some guy in Indiana for 300 dollars and he came and picked everything up.

Basically I want a Red TII to have to tinker around with and take some back roads and just enjoy the drive.

I've always wanted an Elise or Exige. I've never been for a ride in one but I already know I'd be in love. Seems like it would behave like a more hardcore FD. How is it on longer drives?

It drives like a go cart. Mine has the Sport package so its extra rough. You feel EVERY bump. Ive owned a S2000 and while the S2000 is a nicer feeling ride, this one I feel would spank it in the turns. The cabin is BEAR bones with just a AC gauge and about 4 buttons that control some stuff. Longest drive ive had it on is about 20 miles around town. I would definitely not take this for a long ride unless I upgraded the seats.
