Talking Back in the Rotary gang!

Hi all,

I had to make a new account, my old one seems to be deactivated... Just a couple of weeks ago i picked up my 6th RX-7. This particular one is a 5-speed 1990 GXL 2+2, its got all the GXL goodies; cruise control, sunroof, power windows, power steering, STILL has the AC, limited slip diff, fog lights, etc. I bought the car from a guy named Kevin (Who may be a member here on the forums) and he provided me with tangible receipts and paperwork from all the work done to the car in the last 10 years, as well as a digital PDF of every oil, coolant, trans fluid change etc. The car is entirely complete (a first for me) and came with tons of spare parts. The car also has some Tokico struts with Racing Beat springs and it performs lovely and is quite a comfortable ride. Its also got a replica RB exhaust, and sits on convertible BBS wheels. Other than that its entirely stock, and i am in LOVE so far. The car has 227,xxx MILES! It still runs great, flawlessly. So whoever said "Rotaries are unreliable" can suck it! I have spoken to another member on the forums who lives near me and ill be having it rebuilt and streetported here pretty soon. I've got some plans for this one!

Welcome back, lol! Thanks for sharing the pics. Not sure I care for the two tone look, but hey if you like it then go with with it! A solid champagne color with those BBS wheels would also definitely look amazing! The car is a great buy, given it came from a fellow forum member with a maintenance record. Given the age and mileage, I'd say that the car has held up extremely well!!

Thanks! I dont care for the two tone look at all. I actually knew kevin when this car was all one color, Winning Silver Metallic, but through age the paint is beginning to fail and he sprayed the top half black to protect it from the Texas sun. I plan on repainting ut yellow eventually
