Back in the club... picked up a 93 R1

Been a really long time, I had a base model 1993 RX-7 which I sold back in 2000 and was pretty heavy into the RX-7 community forums which were quite different back then.. happy to be back in the game with a 1993 R1.... now on to refreshing my knowledge...

Brooks

Hard to stay away isn't it? There's a long thread in the 3rd gen forum about what car could replace the FD, and you're the kind of example that shows, sometimes, nothing.

Congrats and welcome back. I love Vintage Red. Looks like a really clean car.

Side note, i see WA plate. Where about in WA did you acquire this car? (I'm in Tacoma).

Welcome back to the forum! Beautiful Vintage Red R1! Do you know any of the car's history?

Welcome back. I saw your car in a recent youtube video, it looks like it's in great shape.

Nice looking Vintage Red R1...... one of those started it all for me back in 1998, and soon thereafter I ended up buying a pair of polished Fikse FM5. I was told they used to belong to you Brooks, the 'Fikse' in the center cap had been colored red. Welcome back !
