Welcome to the forum! What part of Ohio are you from? Are you planning on restoring the car? Would love to see pictures of the car as well!

OK bought the car and spent all day yesterday working on it. Drained the coolant, gas and oil and replaced them. Put a new battery in it. It Started!! runs a little rough though. Here is some pics of how it was sitting and the plugs i pulled out of it

yeah its kind of chugging when idling now and i gotta figure that out...gonna start with the basics new plug wires and fuel filter and more fuel in the tank...only put 2 gallons in it. if anyone has any other suggestions id love to hear them. I'm not a mechanic by any means and this is the first rotary I've ever worked on. Have some knowledge from reading about them but still pretty new to it.

There is lots on here about what to do with a barn find.

Running the engine might be delayed until you have done a miriad of recovery prep work.

What colour is the coolant, for instance?

As you dive into the recovery, all kinds of things are likely to break.

Know these risks and plan ahead for them.

Research where you are going to get that automatic serviced.
