Hello everyone! With great excitement I happily introduce myself to you all. My name is Austin and I live in Maryland/DC.

I am in the process of purchasing a pristine 1982 RX-7 GSL, paint in immaculate condition, only 120-140k, and was babied since the moment the owner took it off the lot. Battery just died, but he said for $3k he'd install a new battery and windshield wipers. Only drawback is that the A/C doesn't work (I'm looking to fix this in some way, I'll find out what's with it later), but I'll be living those days in the car like my dad did back in the 80s, in DC with his ancient Dodge Dart. Yeesh!!

I love music and play guitar, drums, bass guitar (naturally), flute, a tad bit of piano, and I sing. I frequently solo and so far my favorite solo piece is Ave Maria, by Franz Biebl. On top of that, I enjoy videogames here and there, though I've had less time to play between my two jobs. I'm a huge metalhead, and I listen to just about every genre except pop country and most rap (favs are Tupac, Beastie Boys, Kendrick, some Drake). Avid Frank Sinatra enthusiast, and big band fan.

I'll be off to the Navy soon and I'm gonna see if I can store my car somewhere for whenever I'm deployed. If not... I might have to sell it
