Aloha from Hawaii

Hi everyone. Soon to be first time rx7 owner. Looking to pick up a first gen Fb carb'd so it won't be the gsl-se. I know i know the se is probably worth more but i am aiming more towards the nostalgia of the first gen carb'd. But anyways hello to everyone and here is a simple question i hope gets answered. How heavy is the 12A motor as compared to a 2 liter piston engine(toyota corolla as an example) trying to picture how big of a job it will be to rebuild.....pull engine, etc well aloha again and i look forward to being a member of the forums!

welcome, i never worked on a 2.0 example corolla engine but i have worked on a 1.8 corolla and the 12a is a little bit lighter than the 1.8 and easier to work on. hope this will help you.
