I'm also a FD owner stationhed out here in Guam. I had fun driving all over the island last year. This year I've been doing major upgrades/restoration. The car runs rough since I put a whole new fuel system in and needs to be tuned badly, but there is no one here to do it and no dyno on the island. As for the roads, I really really miss highways!

@blizzaga, all FD's (93-95 oem, 93-99? jdm) were twin sequential turbos.

@aznmagic, heard of it on my friend's wrx, it's basically the same as the nitrous intercooler sprayers, but he swapped out the bottle for CO2 cause it was cheaper and easier to get. am i suggesting it? not really, i'd rather just get a bigger intercooler, but it's all up to the individual. i don't know how well it works from experience but my friend seems to think it helps. best of luck

Kudos to you man! U in the Navy or Air Force? Def. sux that there's no dyno....there's a rumor that there is one in someone's backyard and the owner died and his son took over, but he doesn't know how to use it....yet that is a rumor. But hey if you get your car up and running, you wanna join our club? We have a 350Z, 3 SRT-4's, Turboed Sentra, SE-R, and others. We are Team REV. lmk if ur interested

Thx for the info thatpoorguy, im thinking of a bigger intercooler, my friend's is 4.5 inch and ill prolly go with a 3" since his is a monster.

If you are wanting to cool your charge. Dont buy the CO2 intercooler spray kit. Go with Alcohol/water/methanol kit. You can get one for around 300.00 and it will increase your octain to 116 and greater. That way you will never need to have a separate tune for race gas.

From what I hav been told 18 psi is max on 93 octain. And since daily driving on 116 is not only stupid expensive it will also foul your plugs constantly. So even just injecting water into your intake will increase your octain to above 110. If you do an alcohol/water mix it will go over 116. You can either get a small 1 gallon tank to fit under the hood or anywhere from 1.5-5 gallon to go in the trunk. My opinoin is that is the way to go if you are trying to make big power for less money.

go with aquamist for a decent priced high quality meth kit. there are several threads in the performance section devoted to alternative injection and their benefits

That sounds better than the CO2 idea. Better off with a kit with alcohol =) I can see it now..............no, put Corona in there it works better, only a lil bit.....save some for me

I hope you know I was joking.

The rumors you hear about the dyno is true.
And yes, meth is magic...but since no dyno to tune just stick with water (just so you know that with water you won't have to retune unlike if you use meth). Search up Howard Coleman, he has valuable information if you are looking to go that route.

BTW how long are you stationed in Guam? I'm gonna be going there in 2 years and....bringing the FD with me

Pics will be up in the morning, original motor 68000 miles drives like a champ, but suspension is def. REALLY rough. Gonna buy new tires tomorrow, get a new head unit and stickshift also while im at it. Anyone know if its hard or not to replace the head unit? The guy said it was difficult lmk thx

No problem thatpoorguy

Yay! Can't wait to see the pics!
But I thought you just shipped the FD there. So you bought it from a local? What color?

And ahh yes...I love the suspensions!

Do alcohol/water injection. Its cheaper and it works a **** tone better. You wont ever have to use race gas and you can boost as high as you want with pump gas.

pics SON!

So this is it the first day i got it, i still need to take pics of what ive done to it after a day........I bought 18" rims for it, already put in the Pioneer Head Unit, put a hole on that box underneath the stock radio and put an Auxiliary cable in it, so i can play my itouch and hide it :P It looks clean. Tomorrow, i will paint the calipers red, get some suspension from the R1 RX7 from 1993, and put a temporary 3 way toggle switch for my driver window...sadly i went for a cruise and press the window button too hard and snapped it. its was smoking ***** in my car. So does anyone know how to make the ride a bit smoother....i live in guam so there are potholes everywhere and it looks like im bouncing to rap music when i hit bumps lmao

Looks like you live in one of the Paradise Estates houses in Dededo.

^^ It's probably just me but I got a kick at you saying Dededo. Did you moved to massachusetts from Guam?

Nice ride BTW, can't wait to see pics of it painted and all.
Again my opinion only. Instead of getting r1 susp. why not get something like tokiko? It has 5 settings and setting it up at 2 is pretty decent. Teins are nice too, heard nothing but good things and of course are more expensive then Tokiko.
And potholes everywhere? What village do you live in? Mangilao AKA Mangi-Town?

Many people use CO2 to cool the intercooler. Its a ring that goes in front of the intercooler that can dramtically lower the intake charge temp.

More of a loop per-say that sprays down the intercooler.
