Yeah I did some ebay parts for my Mustang and lets just say they weren't quality at all and that the seller is no longer selling parts. Anyways the RX7 has always been a dream car of mine, so I can't wait to get to drive it.

I hear ya. The 7 has always been a dream car of mine as well. I think ever since I was 12 or so when I played Gran Turismo 2 for the first time and got my hands on the A-spec and GT-X or GT-C whichever it is...ahh...miss that game and its 7s. But yeah no ebay the 7 is a fragile beast lol. If you have owned a fast car before you may be a lil disappointed in the power. I least I was when compared to my srt-4...For I put the pedal down for the first time today...

Yeah my Stang will beat my FD in a straight line but it doesn't compare to the handling the FD offers.

How much hp did the mustang have? I'm pretty sure with a few upgrades, the fd will blow the doors off your old mustang. lol

Its around 350 and its heavy but, yeah your probably right. The FD is light so with its 250 plus a couple bolt ons it should be a match for it on the track.

It interesting to get used to but you get a lot of turning heads when you pass or pull up beside someone.

hey man I have been wondering how the hell to get a car in the states from japan. How did you get it through customs and past the emmisions tests that are straight bs. I really was considering a japanese import since you get super low miles and a really nice clean ride. Let me know how the logistics were handled since its impossible to find a nice third gen here (close to me). All I have found were some project cars, being 1gen and 2gen 7's.

Don't put a t-timer. I got flamed for doing that, but I extinguished myself quick for it also served as a voltage meter. Senpai, have you got the 7 in the states yet... seems like you have? Also I plan to get mine back to the states thru the Army should only cost 3-4k also in addition to any converting I may need to do. If you could please shed some light on the registration process and what you did?
