94 RX-7 in IL

Hello from the NW suburbs of Chicago. I'm Mike and my car has been up on jacks for some years. I took it down for some extensive mods (turbos, the whole fuel system, rewiring several items), had kids and then I went years without touching the car. Here and there I've poured engine oil in through the spark plug holes and turned over the engine by hand. I'm getting closer to starting it now and I'm hoping the engine is ok. It feels smooth to me, but I wonder how corroded the coolant jackets are, how dry and brittle all the seals are etc.

Really depend on if you stored it dry or left coolant in it, and how long it has been sitting.

I stored it without coolant in it. It's better than having old, acidic coolant eating things away, but I probably could have put something in the cooling system to reduce rust/deterioration during storage. Thanks for the warm welcome.

it should be ok since you stored it dry, you can run some distill thru it and see if the water come out clean. After that I would try to start it, you won't know if the seals are good or not until you run it.
