91camoS5 Introduction/Car History
Hello to all fellow rotary nuts,
My name is Alex and I have been browsing and drooling for a long time prior to my joining. I am currently an automotive high performance major at New England Tech. I have loved RX-7's since I knew what cars were, my mom had an 84 FB bought new and sold in 1990 and I grew up looking at pictures of that car wishing I could drive it. In August of this year i purchased a 1991 RX-7 N/A with full headers and a K&N air filter. Not much else has been done to the car except a new cat was done in may.
I also live with a fellow Rotary Nut... he has an 88 10AE and a 93 fd along with a slew of other non rotary cars...
I am currently not driving it as I am still technically a MD resident and registering it historic is being a pain when i am not there to do all of the paperwork but hopefully it will be on the road within the month of October.
as for my previous car history.
1991 Honda Accord WAGON... died at 169xxx miles, blown motor
1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 liter I6.... my winter DD... 176xxx miles and running strong
2008 Hyundai Accent.... my Summer DD when i do not want to kill gas
1991 Jeep Wrangler.... my toy if it will ever run right.... 72' Corvette Motor 350 small block
1986 RX-7 GXL... parts car... going away soon
