thanks for the comments guys, that 240 was only running about 280whp, kinda quick and fun, and im not sure if i neccesarily want to go rotary, i might LS an FD or RB25 or something else, not sure if i will get along with the rotary and where it makes its power haha something i will have to figure out once i own the chassis (hopefully soon, im very picky) and thanks Kentetsu for the offer but i am stuck pulling the dock out of the lake with my dad, another time for sure i am more than game to go!

haha thanks for the welcome man, everybody in grand rapids does have an fb or fc it seems, so thats why i am going the FD route, i like being the odd duck, you never saw 240's running around like mine and thats what made it cool, but we should all get together, hopefully i pick up the FD i found this saturday, its not perfect and needs a little TLC (my initials haha) but i will make it gorgeous. probably post pics saturday if all goes as planned

hahahah thats a joke only got about 135-140 hp on my car, with just doing the simplest upgrades...like electric fan, upgrading my car to a dual exhaust just looking for the pipe and mufflers still. just bought a 12a rotary engineering uncollected header brand new and it came today along with some after market guages that i am putting in
Saturday forecast: Mostly sunny, high of 53.
Kinda cold, but it won't be raining. Maybe we should get together this Saturday. I could probably do something around noon if anyone is interested...
P.S. If you're on Facebook, friend me (ken tetsu)

Driving a rotary is a little different. they make power linearly, and you have to rev the hell out of them to keep the carbon build up down. I had a N/A 13B in my FC and now I have a JDM 13B-T. The LS1 FDs are fast, rode in one, however it feels a little wrong. Like putting a SB 350 Chevy into a Shelby Mustang. I have 1st hand knowledge of losing a Apex seal on my N/A motor. It still ran, even at idle, however it had no power and sound like a lawn mower. Lose one piston in a V8 and till me how far it will drive. I have going over the whole hating pistons thing. Because I like the LS series motors they are great. It is just taking a rare motor out of a rare car.
