New to the forum, I have a 1993 rx7 with a ls6 6 speed swap. I have a 8.8 irs from a 07 explorer, it could be a daily but it's not, I have like 5 or 6 other cars and bikes to choose from. I bought the car as a shell and did the swap with my brother. Took about a week to get it running, had a pull out from my ctsv so it made the swap pretty simple. I had a 85 fb and that had a 302 out of a 93 mustang, made for a good daily driver. Love the rx7s but not a big fan of rotarys.

 

Nice! I'm in the process of LS swapping my 93. Got any pictures?

 

I know I will probably get some hate for the sticker but I am part of the norotors forum.

 

If they're allowed to have nopiston stickers and license plates, we're allowed to have norotor! Haha. Looks good! What transmission are you using?

I guess I could introduce myself as well. I am Jim, I am 29. I live in Newport nc, I am an aviation mechanic, I rebuild and modify military aircraft for the Air Force, marines, and navy. I also own a small farm (34 acres) with goats, chickens, horses and so forth. I keep very busy, I enjoy working on cars on the side, I usually buy a car or two once a month to flip and make a little extra cash on the side.

nice. V8. I'm thinking doing lS3 swap. My friend swapped in his 80s camaro but can not get smog or BAR approved because it never on production car for ls3. He want to sale it and get another ls from the 07 vett. I may get it into my 93 rx7 if I get a good deal.
