Hi there!
Im new to this site but i got my car a couple of months ago.
My name is François, i'm 21 and i'm from Québec in Canada.I have a yellow FD3S with a couple of mods. Most of the upgrade was on the car already. Unfortunately my engine didn't last long ( caused by pre-ignition ) and is one the way to be rebuild during this winter. I'll add more upgrade like bigger injectors and a better fuel pump.

I didn't even enjoy my car for a week before the motor failed on me . It was running lean because of the FMIC and straight exhaust it had. The car still had the stock japanesse ECU and im prety sure before this car was sold to the JDM garage where I bought my car, the car was running whit a PFC or a other aftermarket ECU. At least i know what was wrong and i wont make the same error twice.

If your on a budget, get a OEM exhaust system. Mine cost me 100$
Do you buy another motor or you do a rebuilt?
I have a spare motor if your interest i think to sell it in short block form.
I will make a compression test in about 2 week
