1988 Mazda RX7 GTU
Hi all, I have a barn find Mazda RX7 GTU that I purchased last year. I plan to use it as my beginner Auto-x/HPDE car for friends and family and a car for me to use when weather isn't nice enough for me to bring out my 97 Supra turbo. So far the car is pretty fun but it needs some suspension help, as well as some more power.
My future plans include some sort of engine swap although that is a few years out. I plan to run the stock NA drive train in the mean time but need to get the car handling better as soon as possible, the car is stock right now. I have issues with it pushing pretty badly through corners and it sucks air in the fuel pump with hard left corners when only a few gallons have been burned out of the tank (i have replaced the pump and fuel sock with spare units from my supra with no improvement on this condition). What advice to people have and I am glad to be on the site! Hoping to get into the classified sections so I can buy some parts I need for the car!
RX7 at an Auto-x (don't mind the oil buzzer, it has plenty of oil...just doesn't like hard corners...) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEWh1jnSnXk

Thanks,
