Awesome. I was going to beg you for corner scale weights, but not if your drag racing it. Not as much of a big deal there...

That engine is SOOOOO heavy. Compared to a 13B anyway...

yeah the 2jz is VERY HEAVY. a lot of people dont realize it. my buddy helped me load and unload it and he was like " how heavy could it be," well he found out real quick!

Yup.

Not talking crap about it though. Just means you have to mount it low and back in a car that will turn (which this one isn't of course). Makes gobs of power per pound even at 650 dressed wtih a tranny and a big single

no thats where u are wrong lol. the motor is all the way against the firewall and VERY low to the ground i can post better pics this weekend! i know u arent talking crap about the 2j tho who can? lol great motor!

This makes me happy, that not everyone on here is stuck on rotaries like I thought they would be. Expensive looking build.

i been a 2jz junkie since day one. theres a lot of v8 swapped rx7s floating around, esp fds. so thats y i decided to go with a 2jz in a fc its somewhat different

This may sound funny, do you have problems fitting around your steering wheel? I have a 86 my stock wheel was to big I'm about 5'10'' so id always bang my knees. I put in a smaller one and now my knuckles hit all my switches on the dash.

Wow, I never would have thought that the 2JZ would be used on the FC. If I had to choose, I'd probably choose the 2JZ over an LS1 swap now haha!

yeah drivetrain is a built th400, and a solid axle ford 8.8. motor will go, but its ok ill build it after it goes, and the whole rotary better the pistons i dont know about that i like driving my cars lol
