1984 rx-7 gsl & 1984 rx-7 gs
Hello I am new to the forum. I have two 12A RX-7s.
The GS is street legal with 133,000 mi and has been upgraded with lowering springs and sway bars from Racing, beat, a new exhaust from the stock headers back including new cats, stainless steel brake lines, upgrade to 4-wheel disk brakes with and LSD rear end from an 81 GSL donor car, new radiator and replaced the transmission. I have used the RX-7 for commuting and fun on the weekends. It was my first Rotary car.
The GSL is a track only car that was converted for SCCA and NASA Pro-7 racing class. This car has been stored in my garage for over a year. It had only one season on the motor when I purchased it.
I had at one time considered an RX-8, but have decided to wait based on the rumors of the 2010+ return of the RX-7.
I would be interested in a rotary powered Caterham 7 someday.
