Finally got my 7!

Finished paying off my '79 SA22C this Friday, and despite it's problems, I already absolutely LOVE the car. I've been around rotaries my entire life, and never, not in a million years did I ever think I'd own my very own RX-7, and not only is it a 7, but it's my all time favorite, the SA22. I've already replaced the idler arm bushings (which were...GONE, all that came out was some gooey junk, lol) got the timing perfect, fixed the distributer (which was pretty much frozen) But still, my car has NO power, my dad's little '83 Datsun truck with the NAP-Z24 engine is faster, and that thing's worn out. So, I'm trouble shooting, and then I realize that the secondaries on my Nikki aren't opening, so I check the vacuum diaphragm, and it's fine, so, my secondaries are just frozen shut from not being used at all. So, tomorrow, I'm just going to take out my carb, take it apart, remove all that useless emission junk (I live in Oregon, so there's no emission laws to fuss over) and use some chicken wire to rig the secondaries to manual. Can't wait to drive my 7 when it's got some go, lol. I'm getting an exhaust system when I get some cash together, I'm just going to have the muffler removed, and put on 2 cherry bomb glasspacks (that will be plenty loud enough for the moment, lol) and go from there. Eventually, down the road, I'd like to stuff a 13B-RE in it, and bolt it to a FD 5-speed tranny. I wanted to rebuild the 12A, but ha, good luck finding a rebuild kit anymore since they're not in production now. The struts are all still good, so I don't have to worry about those, but my tires are some out-of-round, indonesian off-brand cheap-o junk things, so I need some Toyo proxes, and since I got an SA, those rear drum brakes have simply GOT to go. Anyone know where I can find a rear disk conversion? and while I'm asking questions, anyone know where I can find a cheap header? Racing Beat is awfully pricy these days..ha
