VA 1983 RX7 GSL, 'Roxie'

Hello, my name is Brian, 22 years living in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I've been working on these cars since I was 15. These are the first cars I really worked on and still have my first car. It's an 83 GSL, 'Roxie', that I'm finally going to build instead of repair. Going to build a 12A full bridge with straight exhaust. Would like to put Weber DCOE carbs with long runners, but I'll settle for my stripped Nikki if I can tune it to play nice with a full bridge. I've always used forums, especially this one, for pointers. With this build though, I want to avail myself to more knowledge and experience. So I finally signed up.

did you buy a car at age 15 and just start working on it before you could drive or?

My dad bought the car when I was 13 as a father/son project. All we did was general repair as he daily drove the car for a year or so. Then it sat for another yearish because we couldn't get it runnin right. When I was 15 with a learners permit it was either fix the RX7 or drive moms 97 Neon and junk the RX7. It wasn't a hard choice for me, haha.
