Would I, should I, could I?? (roof question)

Maybe a dumm question, but my car will get a new colour anytime soon now but here's my question.

I'm in europe so all FD's have a sunroof. I could have access to somebody providing me (cheap) an original R1 roof.

Would I consider doing this swap? I trust my bodywrok shop with my life oto do the work. Interior roof is not a problem

Thx

I think cutting off the old roof and welding a new roof on roof is a bad idea. The car might loose some structural integrity, even by adding the R1 roof. Is it really worth all that trouble to get rid of a sunroof?. I love mine

I have heard this from many reputable people, but a good body shop with the proper equipment will be able to do this and it would probably be stronger then it was when it left the factory.
