Will this subwoofer dimension work?
Will this subwoofer dimension work in the hatch of an FD?
14.75"H x 24.00"W x 12.49"D
I'am not at my car right now and during lunch I'am going to go check out a JL Audio W6 12" woofer. I would like to know if that dimension will work so I don't have to have a custom box made. It's going to be a sealed enclosure and I'd rather have 1 10" woofer but I couldn't pass up this deal for a W6. I'am not going to run it a ton of power(although a sealed enclosure needs more power), I just want a little CLEAN thump in my music.

That box seems a little big for a single W6 it only needs about .9 to 1.5cu. ft.. The box you have seems like it has about 2.4 cu. ft. unless it is a wedge box. just go to www.jlaudio.com and copy the dimensions of the box they would use for thier enclosures.

It say's to use that dimension. I looked at the hatch when I went home for lunch and it looks like it might not fit. It looks like I would have to get it custom formed to my stock sway bar and have the sub facing the glass of the hatch.
