no offense, but that lambo door conversion SUCKS...
see how the door doesnt go straight up, it goes up but to an angle also... that is the way you can tell right away if it was the ricer-method conversion, or if someone actually put some time and money and engineering into the doors... if you see the RE Amemiya conversion, and real Lambo doors you'll notice that they both go straight up, the way it should be. There was time and money spent making them the way they are...
if you go to any ricer car show, you'll see all the civic's and accords with door conversions that look exactly like that, where they go up and to the side... it looks HORRIBLE in my opinion, and very cheesy. a cheap conversion like that has NO PLACE on any respectable automobile.

charlie, man i totally agree with you. This guy has totally overdone it and im sure just to have the lambo door conversion to add to the rest was all the more better to the guy but he didnt take the time or extra money to get it done right and that seriously takes away from thecar. In my opinion and id say yours too charlie...get it done right or DONT get it at all.

That car looks ******* ridiculous. I live in Sarasota and that car had its stereo work done at our local audio shop, Sound Advice. Honestly, who puts splitters on side skirts, and the rear bumper. He's got little japanese flags plastered everywhere, and tiny "FD3S" stickers. Someone must have learned the chasis code and went on a "FD3S" frenzy. I bet hes the car is that much cooler because most people don't know what that means. The rims belong on thugged out cadillac or something, but deffinately not on a japanese sports car. Ok, the C-West Kit is alright and the scoot hood is pretty clean, but the interior is just about as ridiculous and flashy as the outside looks due to millions of cluttered accessories. He has enough lights inside to give you a seizure. In my opinion, thats a waste of a 5-speed FD. If he was gonna rice out, he should have at least done it the ricer way and used an automatic FD, thus saving the 5-speeds for people with lets just say, better taste.

You guys act like you put money into building it and the car and it turned out bad. It looks like this guy put alot of money and time to build the car . Over the past couple of years everytime someone post a pic of an FD someone has some smart *** thing to say about it. I have seen alot pics of you guys cars and this one looks 10 times better than most ( although it is not what I would do) it is very nice and most of you guys would kill for it. It is usually the guys that don't have the jack to pay for the mods ( example the lambo doors) that come out of the woodwork and start posting remarks like the ones I have read here (they(doors) don't go straight up). Remember, if the guy wants to buy the car and shoot it full of holes it is his choice. I have seen alot of you guys cars on this site that look like they have been through WWII and you are still proud of it. So, before you start bitchin about someones car because it's not what you would do, think about what your car looks like.

Hey, going through WWII is something to be proud of! I like to go look at the show cars sometimes, since they occasionally have some interesting stuff done to them. But many show cars are just excercises in "how much crap can I stuff into this car" rather than thoughtful creations of functional artistry. Like many things in life, building a masterpiece is more about what you leave out than how much you can pack in (in my opinion). I understand that the show circuit has different goals and motivations than what gets me excited though. They aren't my cars, so that's okay.
