Who has had their FD re-painted?
Looks great bud.
I need to go down there not only to talk about date of completion but to pick out a color red.
I don't want the stock VR color, I'm thinking about going with a Ferarri Red. I like deeper color reds, but that Viper Red looks great.

And thanks to everyone for the replies, for the most part I feel a little better I'm not the only one who has gone through this.
More than anything it just sucks not having it around to work on / drive. Been bored the last few weeks lol

Update:
I went down again today, it was in the spray booth almost ready for paint
They were just waiting on the autoglass people to come down and pop the windsheild and rear hatch glass out and I think they were going to start shooting it.
I had to order new moldings for both the front and rear glass from Malloy, and I had them overnight it to me. I never realized how expensive moldings are.
Anywho, I should get it back next week.
I'm really excited.

So I still don't have my car back
Good news is my car has the paint sitting next to it and is scheduled to go in the booth today, but I'm not holding my breath.
I will never get another car 100% re-painted again. This is such a frustrating experience.

2004 Ferarri Red.
I actually got a call from the painter today, about an hour ago. He said he sprayed all the parts that are off the body, and that he would be painting the actual body itself tomorrow. He said I should get the car back mid next week if all goes as planned.
I'll get some pics up tomorrow afternoon when I stop by there.

man, i think my widebody and paint job took like 9 months or something.. i know how it can be.. frustrating is not even the word sometimes, but if the job comes out right, then it is well worth it (as in my case)
