Who built the custom rear firing sealed sub box for the FD???
I want to use either a single JL 10W6 or a pair of JL 8W3 subs in a custom MDF box which sits under my rear shock brace bar and fires backward, not upward. On the front of the box will sit my amp and all will be hidden from the front by the divider.
A few months back, someone who had previously built and sold this box design said that they'd be re-offering it again for a pittance.....?
I've searched but got no recent posts on this homebuilt design...
Anyone got one I can easily copy?

DamonB had those boxes for sale. But don't try and make one like his, he will sue you
Also, I don't recommend putting your amp between the box and the hatch divider. You amp needs to breathe and stay cool.

I'm not going to sue anybody Somebody at the time thought it would be funny to take one of my kits, directly copy it and then sell the kits for their own profit. I don't think that it's cool to profit from someone else's work and I said so. I have no problems at all with someone copying the enclosure for their own use and enjoyment, that's why there are pics around of the installed and bare box so people can see how it was done.
