I'm trying to get some 52mm black-faced Defi D-gauges for my FD.

I placed an order at a local supplier, Dynamic Autosports, in the middle of June and they still don't have 'em! First the wait was 2 weeks, now it's been 3 months. I'm pretty sure they're getting jerked around by their supplier. They've been pretty nice themselves.

Does anyone know who would actually have these in stock?

We sell Defi gauges and go directly through their import company SPI, I will check availability tommarow, if you want to give me a call and let me know which gauges you want, the number is 505-265-1970. Ask for Dan.

 

I think Dynamic goes through SPI as well. The backorder time is what keeps getting pushed back. Here's their part numbers. I remember them closely resembling SPI's.

Earlier today I emailed them to see if they have any in stock. I hope they do. Will see...

I have this sinking feeling that these things are out of production. Hopefully, they're just waiting to get enough orders to do produce a batch.

 

Here is the deal on defi so everyone knows whats up. I found this out through one of my distributors.

When the latest defi shipment came in from japan a month ago, they refused it at the docks and it was sent back across the pacific. So, until the US guys get their **** together, there is no defi in the country.

ya, if you find any for sale. buy as much as you can. even if you dont want them. the demand will keep going up, then when someone really needs them you can make a sick profit.

 

Yea, he sells them. But I'm wondering if he actually has them in stock? I sent rx7store.net an email asking this a couple of days ago, and I haven't gotten a reply.

I have a local shop that sells defi. They're listed on defi's site as a reseller. I'd rather buy from them. There's no shipping, and I pay for it when I get it in my own two hands.

i dont know. All i know is for some reason, the US guys decided not to except the recent shipment. I could give you a million guesses as to why (money, etc.) but i just dont know.
