Where is a good place to mount the siren for my alarm?

I'm trying to find a good place to mount the siren for the alarm I am installing. I really don't want to install it in the engine bay. Where is a good spot that would be hard to access from the outside?

Has anyone installed it in the front bumper? It looks like there may be some room.

I've never heard of anyone putting the siren anywhere but the engine compartment. That way the alarm goes off if they try to get to the siren to disconnect it. That and you fire it down to the ground so the sound gets good travel...for lack of a better description.

I suppose mounting in a bumper would be just fine as long as the siren output had direct access (ie: wasn't muffled) and the wires couldn't be reached so they could be cut before the alarm ever went off.
