Hi, I bought a radio out of a 90 GTX at a junkyard and plugged it into my radio harness on my 89 TII and it didn't work. A friend of mine told me that the "Clarion" radios only work in the car that they were made with. Is this true and is there a way around this? Thanks!

your friend is right about that because they have different wiring in them for the amp and that car may have a built in amp and yours dosnt or it could be a bad radio. I would take it back and get an aftermarket one they are so much better and look better to.
