I imported a 98 FD3S Type R after I sold my R33 GTR Vspec and atm i´m lookin for some parts

I found this picture:



The rearlip/wing looks quite nice so... would love that look on mine together with my 57DD Gramlights and Tein Coilovers.

How is it named ?

Where to get this wing/ a wing like this ?

If you got a shop who can provide me with this wing, it has to be a shop whos shipping to germany (as I live there).

was $350 for CF...not sure now though..every now and then you see them up for sale on the forum

 

sorry for the stupid question, but CF means for you guys outhere in the US carbon fibre ?
And do they provide it in "normal" ? (don´t know what GFK or ABS as materials is spelled for you sry)

 

CF=Carbon Fiber...they also offer in FRP, fibre-reinforced plastic..ie fiberglass reinforced plastic

 

last time i checked it was 300.00 for cf and 200 for frp, that was about 6 months ago.

 

 

Can the low profile spoiler be used to open the hatch or is it attached to the tails?

this spoiler attaches to the tail lights. when you used the lever on the inside or key to open the trunk, if your dampers are working correctly it should open the hatch at least 3" to 6" enough for to get your hands under it to fully open it. and actually others have said their dampers open the trunk even more then that.

 

Ok, and with the factory spoiler off the hatch should raise a little higher than it does..

Its noo problem to get it sent to Germany. I have bought stuff from him and I live in Sweden.

The trunk is no problem to open since the wing only covers the tail-lights.

 

bump a very old thread...I can not seem to find a picture of the FRP style. I wonder if it needs to be painted like a glossy black for it to look good or leave it flat black like they probably come in

 

What is used to fix this to the taillights? Some sort of adhesive? Has anyone removed this at some point? I'm curious as to how well they could clean up the tail lights after having this on there..
