Where to get lambo hinges for my 94 RX7?
You don't like the old RE Amemiya car? They used to do the conversion for about $10,000, but their doors open straight up. Not the half-way diagonal opening of the cheap kits offered here in the states. However, theirs was never a kit. IIRC they did the conversion in-house. Granted, that photo is from around 1998-1999.
If you look closely, you can see the interior of the doors are different. It was thought they may use CF doors or something lighter than the stock doors with the conversion. However, I don't know if anyone ever found out for sure.
BTW, those are the manual doors, not the latter motorized doors they came out with a few years back (with their wide body kit).

Scoot's 4 rotor FD throws it off the best in my opinion.
But then again, that car is quite exclusive. Only Re-amemiya's rx7s and Scoot's FD look good with vertical doors and they're equality stuff.

the Scoot FDs doors are held by special shocks as well as hinges. They feel factory fit, and quality. They are hardly comparable with the cheap junk, and not to mention...the whole kit goes with the lambo style doors.
