Everything molded looks better. It takes away from the "I just snapped on a bunch of parts" look.
But yeah this car is not my taste but I'm not gonna bash his hard work based on MY TASTE. That's just not cool.
i personally like it when the kits are molded in....makes them look less "tacked on" so to speak. IMO, id go with just a straight GTC kit or a true widebody...the bigger curves seem kinda out of place and i would have molded the gastank area up to match...cutout looks a little out of place. But im nitpicking on a gorgeous car!

thanks guys for your comments good and bad.Everyone does what the **** they want with their car so this is what I did with mine. The r-magic wing and rotaryextreme ks hood are coming off soon.teamstealth I wanted the gas cap mold built up to match the rest of the car but if it was done the door wouldn't be able to swing open. The car is 3'' wider on each side.

Hey Dead eye I will be putting the 15th anniversary wing the one in you avater pic on the car soon.I had the rmagic wing because I use to drag race all the time.It really keeps the back steady especially when lanching. But blow tomany motors doing that.So it really just for show but still has the go.I got my car brand new from dealer 10 years ago.I was a red with tan touring.$36500 new with r1 lip and rear spoiler.

manny, beautiful car mate, we have some insane FD's over here in OZ but that would definatly have to be one of the best ive ever seen. I must say im not a HUGE fan of the 15th anniversery wing, could i suggest perhaps being a bit different from every other modified car in the states and go wingless!!! Drastic i know! lol. Maybe even a gt wing, would look alot better then the 15th one. my opinion neway. Colour is excellent.
and one last thing, Go Scissor doors!!!
cheers mate

^ yeah man..scissor doors would be awsome..but i doubt he wants to send his ride out to RE in Japan to get it done/doesn't trust anyone in the states to do it either...i kno i wouldn't.
molded in, does that mean its installed and bondo'd in? If so, even though it is a show car, there is no way that it will last since any stretching, movement of the body kit will stress the bonding material and eventually crack..no way around it. in time it will need to be touched up.

Not really buddy. If the job is done correctly and carefully, it will never crack under driving. Use of well-placed rivets and fiberglass all help. I have built a few show cars with everything shaved and never had a problem. They were my daily drivers too.
Autobody is the one place you don't want to get cheap on a car. It will bite you in the ***.
