wheel offests??? 18x8 and 19x10.5
hey,
im getting wheels in these sizes:
18x8 in the front with a 235 35 18 tire and a 19x10.5 with a 285 30 19 tire... what are the correct offsets that i will need so that they dont rub??? just checking before i buy a set...
Thanks!

I am running a somewhat similar setup of
19x8.5 +45 with 245/35/19 in front
19x10 +32 with 275/30/19 out back
My rear wheels fit fine without rubbing but I rolled the fenders anyway. The fronts however are a different story. They rub all the time (at least on the liners). One other problem I have though is I am running RB springs and they make the car sit so low. I just bought some HKS coilovers and hopefully, they will help fix the problem. I don't know if this helps but food for thought anyway I guess.
Good luck.

Make sure you post some pics! I have only seen one other RX-7with 18/19's besides mine. Here are my specs even though the sizes aren't identical to yours: 18x8 +40 235/40/18 and 19x9.5 +42 or 43 (was +45 but had to use about a 2 or 3mm spacer to clear calipers due to spoke angle) 275/30/19. I am also lowered on Tein S-tech springs/OEM shocks and I have ZERO rubbing.
With an 18x8 I would go with anywhere from +35 to +40, with the lower offset being more flush with the fender, although more chance of rubbing if you lower your car. I know of someone on here running 18x10.5 +43 285/35/18 and said he had no rubbing with tein flex coilovers. You may want to go higher like +48 or something if you want to be real safe ( I know someone with 18x10 +52 285/30/18). I'm sure others will chime in.
Also might want to go with a 235/40/18 up front (25.4in diameter) to get closer to the rear diameter (25.7in). The 235/35/18's are 24.5in
You'll love the way it looks. To me 19's look too big up front, but great in back. I always prefered the staggered look of NSX's and vettes, looks more agressive IMO.
